[Hayate knew that something was wrong the moment he woke up on some sort of wood flooring, feeling incredibly groggy. He figured he may have just overslept (past his usual one to three hours a night) and somehow fallen off of his bed. Even that is pretty peculiar though. Now isn't the time to lay around and ponder about it though; he needs to go make breakfast! If he really did oversleep this much, then Nagi and all of the others in the Violet mansion must already be up and... no, no this is not good. Hayate feels so irresponsible right now ugh. Once he pushes himself up and onto his feet, he suddenly feels a bunch of hanging fabric surrounding him. Clothes, maybe? Regardless of what they are though, this is still really confusing and just as weird. It's when he moves his a arms around to feel his surroundings that he discovers where exactly he is.

How the hell did he manage to get inside of a closet?

Well. Again, no time for pondering! Except closets and wardrobes obviously aren't meant to open from the inside, which poses a bit of a problem.

...Which is why Mikado and Aoba just may hear a large crashing sound from one of their bedrooms.]

[Anyone walking around in community building 7, the plaza, or possibly anywhere else in the village may come across a walking box. Inside this walking box is the feminine-looking Hayate, wearing the girls' new feather dress, no less. Absolutely no one must see him in a dress, nope...

It's rather hard to see where he's going (even with a small opening in the box), so he just may get lost on his way to the clothing store and end up anywhere around the village..! Or he may bump into you. Which, in that case, one may hear shouting from inside of the mysterious box-]

U-uwaaaaaaaah! I'm sorry, please excuse me!

No. Guys usually appear with just pants. Sometimes the Malnosso are nice and give New Feathers their clothes when they show up.

I guess that means that these Malnosso don't like me very much. [Or they think he's actually a girl, which better not be the reason or he'll have to politely correct them somehow.]

[...Considering Hayate's luck, this is only mildly surprising. Sob. But he nods, holding the box up with one hand so that it doesn't fall off.]

Yes, um... Could you please show me where the clothing store is? I'd like to find my clothes quickly before anybody else sees me like this... and it's kind of difficult to see through this hole.

[He tries to poke said hole with his free hand, but misses and instead prods the surface of the box beside it. ...point proven. 8|]

They would be able to see much more than that if the hole was bigger. With this hole though, they should only be able to see my eyes [no they would see more, Hayate..], so I'm sure it's safe! [He's proud of his box cutting and deciding skills, thank you very much!]

Your hair and eyes are blue.

..E-eh?! Are you sure? Maybe they're actually green! Green and blue are very similar, after all. It's too dark inside of this box to differentiate such close colors, anyway!

[But he's going to walk away towards the clothing store. Can you see him leaving?]

A-ah... [He hears footsteps and kind of sees someone leaving so... yep! And so he follows.

...albeit silently. This person is rude and clearly has some sort of power that allows for him to see things clearly through Hayate's amazing box. But at least he's helping him out. Kind of.]

[March, march, march, march... It's actually not too far, considering they were in the plaza already. How long was this guy wandering around the place?

Leon stops in front of the clothing store and points at it.] There you go. Aren't you glad you're walking and not crawling?

Mmm... Hardly. I'm sure someone walking around in a dress with a box on their head draws a lot of attention. [Because a moving box alone doesn't.] But thank you very much, critical person. [At least he's not calling him 'hopeless person'...

Hayate reaches for the box though, ready to take it off, but then pauses.] A-ah... are there any people looking this way?

[You would have made it much faster to your destination if you weren't so ... you, Hayate.]

If you're so worried about the box, you can go inside before you remove it.

[He's facepalming. Really.]

[Something would have been bound to happen and keep him from getting here faster regardless.]

[Reaching for the doorknob now! ...where is it. help.]

Hold on, I'll get it.

[And he'll get to the door before the box-head and open it.]

[I am so sorry Leon.

Once he hears the door open, Hayate quickly walks on in and looks around for a moment (though of course he can't see anything just yet) before finally decapitating his box head.]

Ahh... There we go! I was under that box for so long that everything looks extra bright, ahaha...

[he... still hasn't gotten a good look at Leon though.]
