[Hayate knew that something was wrong the moment he woke up on some sort of wood flooring, feeling incredibly groggy. He figured he may have just overslept (past his usual one to three hours a night) and somehow fallen off of his bed. Even that is pretty peculiar though. Now isn't the time to lay around and ponder about it though; he needs to go make breakfast! If he really did oversleep this much, then Nagi and all of the others in the Violet mansion must already be up and... no, no this is not good. Hayate feels so irresponsible right now ugh. Once he pushes himself up and onto his feet, he suddenly feels a bunch of hanging fabric surrounding him. Clothes, maybe? Regardless of what they are though, this is still really confusing and just as weird. It's when he moves his a arms around to feel his surroundings that he discovers where exactly he is.

How the hell did he manage to get inside of a closet?

Well. Again, no time for pondering! Except closets and wardrobes obviously aren't meant to open from the inside, which poses a bit of a problem.

...Which is why Mikado and Aoba just may hear a large crashing sound from one of their bedrooms.]

[Anyone walking around in community building 7, the plaza, or possibly anywhere else in the village may come across a walking box. Inside this walking box is the feminine-looking Hayate, wearing the girls' new feather dress, no less. Absolutely no one must see him in a dress, nope...

It's rather hard to see where he's going (even with a small opening in the box), so he just may get lost on his way to the clothing store and end up anywhere around the village..! Or he may bump into you. Which, in that case, one may hear shouting from inside of the mysterious box-]

U-uwaaaaaaaah! I'm sorry, please excuse me!

Ah, well... where I come from, cosplay's quite common. Milady would go to these conventions where people would dress up as anime characters all the time, and one of her friends enjoyed doing it too. [..way too much, at that. Then there's the fact that they force Hayate into cosplay, but he won't mention that.] It's very common for cosplayers to wear car ears especially though!

[...Those ears... so weird... It takes Hayate a moment to reply due to him staring at them, but then he nods.]

I suppose so... I know a lot of girls who think wearing cat ears is cute, so I guess that's the reason. [..And again, cat ears on him and not even them..] I don't really understand it well myself though, since those sorts of things don't interest me.

Getting dressed up when you don't want to is never interesting. [He says, though he's gotten to keep more of his dignity than Hayate had left in his right big toe.]

It wasn't that bad, was it...? I thought it was a very good idea! It beats having to walk around openly in such an outfit, anyway.

Even if my face was the only thing covered by the box, it still would've been rather embarrassing for me to be walking around in such clothing. [It makes sense! ..Kind of.] Imagine if you were in such a position, Critical Person...

I would be more embarrassed crawling around in a box and not getting to my destination because I was too busy getting lost. Obviously. [...Yes, he's kinda owning this Critical Person title now, isn't he?]

If they can't tell it's me, what does it matter? I can stand the embarrassment long enough to get indoors.

[Maybe, once upon a time, he wouldn't be able to. But there were a lot of embarrassing things that a person went through in Luceti.]

It's not even much of a dress. It's pretty much shapeless. [He gestures to Hayate's New Feather clothes dismissively.] Some people might even consider it a nightgown. Come on.

Even so, it's still close enough to a dress, and it's meant to be worn by women. I believe that's embarrassing enough on its own.

[He half hopes that Leon would one day find himself in a dress so he could feel Hayate's pain. ...But then again, he wouldn't want his awful misfortune to be placed on anyone else, as critical and rude as they may be!]

Yeah, yeah. [He waves dismissively.] You'll most likely find your things here. If not, you might need to wait a day or two while they process whatever you had on you.

[Well he knew that much from Mikado and Aoba! But the latter he did not... worst comes to worst though, he can just find some other clothes to wear. No biggie.]

Ah, okay! [He starts looking around briefly before adding-] ...Um, actually... Do you think you could help me look for them, Critical Person?

Leon. [He tries to correct him without sounding too exasperated.] I don't call you Met-Wearing-a-Box Person, do I?

What exactly are you looking for?

[Wow he's even critical when it comes to names!--] I see. In that case, Leon-san, my name is Hayate.

[Now let's see...] Ah, well.. It's just a butler uniform, so it shouldn't be that hard to spot, I think. [Except instead of that there's the Sanzenin maid uniform here. oops.]

Butler uni-- ...You're a butler? Huh? [With all of that bizarreness, he would have more expected someone from an acting troupe.]

[Just tilting his head as he starts to look around the shelves.]

I've never heard of a teenage butler before.

[That was kind. Yep.]

Ahh... I guess it does seem a little unusual then, putting it that way. [He does know a few more teenage butlers, though he doesn't see them as teenagers at all. Especially Maria. She's totally old.] My parents abandoned and sold me to these very nice men though, and they left me with a large debt. So I ended up having to becoming Milady's butler in order to pay it back, regardless of my age.

[...not that he minds. If he wasn't her butler, his life would be miserable -- assuming he would even still have one, really. He just smiles though, scratching his head sheepishly.]
