Of course! It was either that, or roaming around the streets, streaking and potentially becoming a gangster! [I. Yeah. Blame Yurippe.]

[Hayate nods. He's totally serious about this!]

Y-yes! If I ran around without this box, I would sully more innocent people's lives, which is definitely a crime! So I could end up going to jail for that, and the other prisoners there will try recruiting me into their gangs. So I have to have this box!

There's no law enforcement here. So you're not gonna get thrown into jail. And you're definitely not gonna find other prisoners to recruit you into a gang.

You never know though, Leon-san! There could be a shady underground group of law enforcement agents hidden within the barrier! If that was the case, we wouldn't know about that, would we?

And, if there was, you think you'd be one of their recruits?

[He really shouldn't be sucked into this craziness. But maybe it's too late.]

W-well... Of course I wouldn't want to join them, but they would be persistent about it and ultimately force me to, somehow! Criminals like that are usually very persuasive, you know!

[He hangs his head at this reasoning.]

Are you sure you don't just like being forced into strange situations?

...Eh? E-eeeeeh? [BLASPHEMY.]

Of course not! Why would I ever wish such situations upon myself? My specialty is misfortune, so those sorts of things just happen to occur!

[A nod.] Yes, my specialty! It's an unfortunate one, but it seems like I always manage to get myself into difficult or strange situations, so... [it's a specialty. yep.]

W-- why would you call it a specialty? It sounds more like bad luck.

Well, bad luck is also one of my specialties, so in turn, that makes misfortune one as well. [I. Yeah.]

So anyway, you still shouldn't be crawling around the village in a box. Especially twice.

That's where I was heading! I couldn't just go there out in the open while nude.

What else would you propose I should have done then?! I couldn't possibly go to the clothing store out in the open, so...
