[After doing his normal every day chores like cooking and cleaning over in House 40, Hayate realizes just how hard Yuri has been working on this volleyball tournament thing she's been planning! Between the planning itself, recruiting, and all the posters and flyer she and Hayate had to make just a couple days ago, it's quite a bit of work, yep. And you know what comes after the tournament? Her birthday. Which... Hayate is positive most people don't know about, since lol Yuri telling people it. So before heading on out to pass out flyers and all, he throws a voice entry up in his journal.]

Hello, Luceti!-- [...pause.] A-ah, I should probably filter this, shouldn't I... [..Yeah gonna go ahead and do that! Not really much of a strong filter, but oh well. Hopefully that'll do?!] Hm... There we go! Okay! So ah.. How should I put this... For any of you who happen to be friends with Yurippe-san, her birthday happens to be coming up! It's on the 30th of this month. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have mentioned it to many people, but seeing as how she works very hard here, I figured her friends should know about it, ahaha..

Yurippe-san mentioned putting together a volleyball tournament a few weeks ago, so I urge any and all of you to join that! It'll be a lot of fun. If you have any questions on that, you could ask her! Or I suppose you could ask me as well and I could just relay the question to her, aha... It's like I've become a messenger boy... But ah, I'll be handing out flyers Yurippe-san and I made later on, so if you're interested, they'll be around in the plaza!

[Just as promised, later on in the mid to late afternoon, Hayate will be out in the plaza, hanging up posters and handing out flyers for the volleyball tournament, yup. Feel free to bump into him while he's out and about! Or well. He'll just be holding out of the flyers out to you. And yeah.]

Uwooooh... It's like in an RPG! Would that make the volleyball tournament like some sort of bonus event or sidequest in a video game?

Exactly! [ Yuri doesn't know a ton about games since most of what she learned was from Hinata and Ooyama.. but she can fake it 8|b ] A sidequest, definitely. The goal of the game is to overthrow the evil Malnosso and get home. Then when you die, you lose a life and you have to restart-- ..actually, that's really accurate since you just end up somewhere outside of the barrier right?

Well, I suppose it would make an interesting story for an author to write... or a good premise for online roleplayers. They could take various characters from anime and western animation and throw them into the story! It would be neat to see such a diverse group of people interact, anyway.

...E-eh? Personally, I don't think so, ahah... [headscratch] But Milady is a fan of a lot of manga, anime, and videogames, so I hear about a lot of things from her. [And he has read his fair share while working at comic book stores and libraries soooooo.]
