[Hayate knew that something was wrong the moment he woke up on some sort of wood flooring, feeling incredibly groggy. He figured he may have just overslept (past his usual one to three hours a night) and somehow fallen off of his bed. Even that is pretty peculiar though. Now isn't the time to lay around and ponder about it though; he needs to go make breakfast! If he really did oversleep this much, then Nagi and all of the others in the Violet mansion must already be up and... no, no this is not good. Hayate feels so irresponsible right now ugh. Once he pushes himself up and onto his feet, he suddenly feels a bunch of hanging fabric surrounding him. Clothes, maybe? Regardless of what they are though, this is still really confusing and just as weird. It's when he moves his a arms around to feel his surroundings that he discovers where exactly he is.

How the hell did he manage to get inside of a closet?

Well. Again, no time for pondering! Except closets and wardrobes obviously aren't meant to open from the inside, which poses a bit of a problem.

...Which is why Mikado and Aoba just may hear a large crashing sound from one of their bedrooms.]

[Anyone walking around in community building 7, the plaza, or possibly anywhere else in the village may come across a walking box. Inside this walking box is the feminine-looking Hayate, wearing the girls' new feather dress, no less. Absolutely no one must see him in a dress, nope...

It's rather hard to see where he's going (even with a small opening in the box), so he just may get lost on his way to the clothing store and end up anywhere around the village..! Or he may bump into you. Which, in that case, one may hear shouting from inside of the mysterious box-]

U-uwaaaaaaaah! I'm sorry, please excuse me!

I think it's safe to come out, Hayate-san.

[Gentle knock or not, the box still jumps a bit when Madoka does that. But then Hayate realizes it's just her, so... it's cool. Give him a moment and he'll slowly stand back up and remove the box from his head.]

Ahh, there we go! It's nice to be able to see freely again, ahaha...

H-- Hayate-san.. u-um.. [ HOW TO SAY THIS DIPLOMATICALLY.. ] I'm not sure if you know, but.. you're wearing the girl's version of the new feather clothes..

[It is then that it has occurred to Hayate that he should have asked Madoka to turn around. This is so embarrassing... And in front of a cute girl, above all else...! He's tempted to pretend that he had no idea about this, but that is stupid and would make no sense and do no good so...]

[ .. okay, this surely is an embarassing thing for both parties, right? Right. So she'll just.. have to pretend she didn't saw that-- nope, she's looking flustered already, but after a few moments she turns around, slapping her hands in front of her face. ]

I.. it's okay now, Hayate-san! Please go and grab new clothes, I won't look..!

Y-yes, I'll do that right away!

[THANK YOU FOR NOT LOOKING... And pretending you didn't see... Such a bro, Madoka. Of course she saw anyway, but her effort is still much appreciated by Hayate...

So with that, Hayate will go ahead and search through the store for his clothes from home. Unfortunately, instead of finding his butler uniform, he finds a different familiar-looking one. So Madoka may hear him shouting "What kind of joke is this?!" from the other side of the store...

But soon enough, he'll find some other clothing he can wear. They're not his from home, but... it's something. And they're warm enough for the weather outside.]

I-I'm going to go change into these clothes I found, okay? I'll be right back!

[ Still just.. standing there.. with her hands in front of her face.. but she nods, all obedient, it's okay Hayate, she's behind you 100%..! ]

... O-okay! I'll be waiting..

[Good girl, Madoka... Give Hayate a few minutes before he's in men's clothing, finally... He taps Madoka on the shoulder when he returns.]

You can open your eyes now, miss.

[ Okay, turning around now and seeing-- Hayate in just normal clothes YEAAAH THIS IS OKAY. ]

Ah, I'm glad you were finally able to find something to wear, Hayate-san.. At least now I can remember you as something other than a box.
